I had never heard of this place before. But when I went there, I was genuinely surprised. The food was very good and it's quite a big place. I chose the lasagne and it was delicious, one of the best I ever had. I highly recommend this place to everyone. One downside was the location, but the food had me forgetting that.

Gezellig tafelen in een oudentieke (zo wel binnen en buiten) West-Vlaamse sfeer! Zeer lekkere kippetjes en ribbetjes. Top gekruid en gegaard! (Met een uitgebreid sla'tje on the side!). Zeer vriendelijk bediend geweest! Speeltuintje voor de kinderen. Parking voor de deur. Top!

Een aanrader! Wij hebben de ribbetjes gehad en deze zijn heel mals, heel lekker en er is heel veel vlees aan. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.

Ik kom hier al al van jongs af aan, toen nog met de vorige eigenaars. Ondanks dat ik nu vrij ver woon van Elverdinge, komen wij hier nog altijd heel graag. Vriendelijke ontvangst, top bediening met super aangenaam en top personeel. Sowieso een aanrader voor iedereen die een restaurant zoekt in de Westhoek! Speeltuin binnen en buiten is top voor de kids!

We chanced upon this place when the owner (Jean) of the place we stayed recommended it. He even called to make a reservation for us. When we arrived, there were ample parking spaces next to the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with the interior of the restaurant, which was cosy and well decorated. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose to sit outside and were led to a garden behind the main building. There was also a children’s playground. We ordered a roast chicken with bread and pork ribs with fries. The owner informed us waiting time will be 40 minutes for the ribs, which are made fresh only when they receive an order. Wow! It was well worth the wait. Ribs were perfectly done and roasted (1/2) chicken was full of flavour. The thinly sliced toasted grain bread went so well with the chicken. The food also came with a salad, it was yummy. The portions were large. Prices were so reasonable, we could hardly believe our eyes when we got the bill. By the way, we knew why Jean had to make a reservation. The crowd started arriving soon after us.

Wij waren er met een groep van 10 volwassenen en 6 kinderen. Ideale plaats om met kinderen te gaan, zowel binnen als buiten veel speelruimte! Heel lekker eten die vlot bediend werd, heel vriendelijk personeel!
